Dorothy Grant great Grandfather was Scottish, Orlando Wells Grant, came from Glouchester Maine around 1850's. Her last name Grant comes from his lineage.
Dorothy draws on this part of her heritage to make this black/red plaid jacket and incorporates her Haida heritage with her embroidered hummingbird artwork on the kangaroo large pockets.
